Description: This work was originally created as an animated projection artwork, from a combination of 3D sculpted objects, gestural drawings done in Virtual Reality and open source 3D models. This artwork is thinking about experimentations with dimensionality and time - through the media used, 2D artwork vs 3D digital sculpture, an image that is instantly absorbed or taken in over a period of time; and also through the content of the imagery, Greek and Roman statues are pumped along a factory assembly line in a fantastical Rube Goldberg machine of deceptively complex pipes, conveyor belts, contraptions and devices.
